Triggering Brawl, Mass Organization License will Be Revoked

The Lawbreaker Mass Organizations could be disbanded. Moreover, if they trigger brawl even cause casualties.

"If they (mass organization) still conduct anarchist action, even though their members have been sanctioned, and for more than three times, then their organization license will be revoked," stressed Chief of East Jakarta Metro Resort Police, Sr. Comr. Umar Faroq, Monday (8/11). 

Faroq told, the stern action is stated on Laws No.17/2013 on Community Organization. Thus, each organization obligated to do guidance and training for their members not to do anarchist action that lead to criminal action. "There should be guidance and training for the members," he told.

However, he continued, he has no right to disband them. "Because it is the authority of the local government," he continued. 

It is disclosed after brawl incident involving members of mass organization and citizens in Gembong Market, Jatinegara, East Jakarta a couple times ago. In the incident, a woman and a boy became the violence victims thus need to get intensive treatment in Kramatjati Police Hospital. 

Police successfully arrested 7 members of the organization with intials SY (27), HA (26), MU (35), PA (23), DH (32), DS (33), and Y (35). "They are charged with article 170 of the Criminal Code (KUHP) about jointly persecution that cause victims, and sentenced to maximal 7 years in prison," he finished.
