Beef Market Operation in Perumnas Klender Rejected by Peddlers

Market Operation which is held by the City Administration in Perumnas Market Klender, Jalan Teratai Putih Raya, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta, Wednesday (8/12) got rejection from the peddlers. The operation then forced to be moved at Malaka Jaya Urban Village office, located 50 meters away from the market.

Ombi (36), one of the peddlers said, the operation was not coordinated with the peddlers. The beef sales by Rp 85,000-Rp 89,000 could shut down their business. "Our last capital was only Rp 115,000 and sold by Rp 120,000. Well, how can we sell again tomorrow," he complained.

Ratnawati (56), a resident of RW 05, Malaka Jaya Urban Village, claimed disappointed with peddlers' rejection. Because, these days she has a trouble to get beef. Moreover, beef sold in the operation is cheap. "I need the beef for my Haj supply. Luckily it is opened again in urban village office," she expressed.

Hardiansyah, the operation staff from PD Dharma Jaya acknowledged, before in Perumnas Market, the operation had been held in Jatinegara Market around 5 AM and sold as much as 12 kilograms. After getting instruction to shift, the operation then held in Perumnas around 5.45 AM.
