3,560 Trees Planted Along Jalan DI Panjaitan

The under flyover of Cawang-Tanjung Priok Toll Road, precisely at Jalan DI Panjaitan East Jakarta, is planted by 3,560 trees. The planting of those thousands trees have been completed on last Sunday (8/16).

The planting took 2 days. Now the under toll road at Jalan DI Panjaitan has been green

"The planting took 2 days. Now the under toll road at Jalan DI Panjaitan has been green," said Head of East Jakarta Parks and Cemetery Sub-Department, Mimi Rachmiati, Tuesday (8/18).

Rachmiati uttered, there are 2 kinds of tree planted, that is about 2,160 yellow palm trees and 2,400 bakung trees. The planting is expected could make East Jakarta greener.

3,000 Decorative Lights Coloring Protocol Roads

Besides under toll road, she continued, green belt near by Transjakarta bus shelter, precisely across Park Hotel is also planted with trees.

"Besides protocol roads, we will focus on arranging East Flood Canal (KBT) area," she continued.
