Fire Handling Dept. Cooperated with Kejati for Procurement

Jakarta Dept. of Fire Handling and Rescue cooperated with Jakarta High Prosecutor (Kejati) to prevent technical problem during procurement. The effort is also aimed to ease Commitment Maker Official (PPK) as the side who takes responsibility during the procurement.

Subejo, Jakarta Head Department of Fire Handling and Rescue, explained the Kejati will accompany the PPK during the procurement process.

"Suggestion and consultation from Kejati is needed to avoid mistake, so the PPK official will worry-free," said Subejo after signing the MoU with Kejati, Wednesday (8/19).

260 Fire Extinguisher Equipments Distributed

He hoped this MoU will ease the procurement especially avoiding mistake in picking the goods.

"Consultation is needed since we've many regulations. It is also needed to strengthen our work," he added.

Meanwhile, Adi Toegarisman, Head of Kejati, explained that besides handling the civil law and crime, his side also has another role. That is accompanying and giving suggestion related to the law.

"No one will disturb you as long as walking along the right path (regulation), he explained.
