Jekarta Head Dept. of Communication, Informatics, and Public Relation, Ii Karunia, said there are 50 SKPDs, but only four units having public relation section. Those four are Health Department, Social Department, Cleanliness Department, and Sport and Youth Department.
"I trust all SKPD s have worked maximally, but their activities are not covered fully. We (province level) is ready to assist you," said Ii during opening the communication management for public relation in Jakarta Library Building, Cikini, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Thursday (8/20).
According to him, there are still SKPDs working alone and less coordination. Communication management is needed to create a synergy among SKPDs for developing the New Jakarta.
The event is also the response form of Public Information Commission Law and President Instruction No. 9/2015 about Public Information Management.
Meanwhile, Wiwik Wijayanti, Jakarta Head of Public Relation for Dept. of Communication, Informatics, and Public Relation, expressed that the event is participated by 150 staffs from 50 SKPD/UKPD). Those number will be divided into three sections. First is Thursday (8/20), second is Thursday (8/27), and third is Tuesday (9/1).
The event also invited Emilia Basaar, a public relation academist.
