Until mid-August 2015, the revenue of Urban and Rural Land and Building Tax (PBB P2) in East Jakarta only reaches 35.28 percent from initial target by Rp 1.085 trillion. To reach it, the tax land and building (PBB) collection will be boosted through tax-role model week on last Tuesday (8/24).

Head of East Jakarta Tax Service Sub-Department, Supendi Daud acknowledged there were 400 potential taxpayers invited yesterday to Mayor Office. “Through this program, we gradually able to achieve Rp 100 billion or even more,” he expressed.
He added, various ways are done to boost tax revenue through jemput bola (officers to take the initiative to visit residents) in urban villages and sub-districts. “Hopefully, we can achieve the target,” he disclosed.
