Disconnected Network, 15,000 E-ID Cards can't Be Printed

Due to disconnected network, as many as 15,000 E-ID cards are failed to be printed by Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Department.

"We cannot do E-ID card printing due to network offline in Home Ministry," told Head of Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Department, Edison Sianturi, Wednesday (8/26).

According to Sianturi, such disconnection has been ongoing since Monday (8/24) and cannot send data recording from Jakarta residents. "Averagely, the data recording can serve 5,000 per day," he said.

Nevertheless, the offline network service is still opened. Thus resident can still process manual or regular ID card. As a result, his side managed to serve 2,000-2,500 people for regular ID card.

Based on Home Ministry's information, the online network will be active normally on Thursday (8/27).
