PMKS in Sunter Agung Park Rampant

Citizens are complaining the rampant of People with Social Welfare Problems (PMKS) who use Sunter Agung Park at Jalan Sunter Agung, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta, as a place to take a break at night.

It's getting unsettling, if they occupy the location every night

Jonathan, (35), one of citizens mentioned every night, the 300x5-meter park is always crowded by PMKS.

" It's getting unsettling, if they occupy the location every night ," he complained, Friday (9/11).

Some facilities of the park, such as chairs and surfboard are used by them as their sleeping base.

Head of North Jakarta Parks and Cemetery, Agustin Pudjiastuti claimed, despite PMKS controlling is not his authority, but her party will coordinate with Social Sub-Department and Satpol PP.

"Park's beauty is my authority. As for PMKS, it's the authority of Satpol PP and Social Sub-Department. I will coordinate it soon," she explained.
