Djarot Persuaded Citizens to Keep Doing Activity

Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat persuaded citizens to be more active in various activities. Besides health, it could extend Jakartans’ life expectancy. 

If we want to fight this senility, we should move more. It means the more we think, move and do activities. Insya Allah, we will be more health and intelligent

"If we want to fight this senility, we should move more. It means the more we think, move and do activities. Insya Allah, we will be more health and intelligent," he expressed when he attended the Elderly-Friendly Movement Socialization Campaign, at HI Roundabout, Central Jakarta, Sunday (9/13). 

He told, currently the average number of Jakartans life expectancy is about 75.5 years. Whereas their activities are quite high. "We should increase the number to be 83 years," he told. 

Jakarta will Be An Elderly-Friendly City

According to him, currently city has owned Child-Friendly Integrated Public Space (RPTRA). But it can also be used by elder. 

"There are many social and public facilities like RPTRA in Jakarta. So, don't be mistaken if they are only for children, but for elder too," he closed.
