Illegal Terminal at Jalan F Raya Komplek Listrik Complained

Local residents of RW 10 Cempaka Baru, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, are complaining the existence of an illegal terminal at Jalan F Raya Komplek Listrik, Cempaka Baru. Terminal is dominated by Metromini minibus P11 (Senen-Bendungan Jago).

The road condition is already unworthy for minibus. Officer should take firm action

Chairman of RW 10 Cempaka Baru, Giri (40) stated locals actually wanted to close down the terminal. But they are afraid it would cause friction. "Terminal is located near a resident's entrance way," he stated, Monday (9/14).

Based on beritajakarta.com observations, the terminal makes the road narrowed up to 6 meters. Not only that, the sidewalk near terminal is also used by drivers and conductor to take a rest by placing chairs.

"The road condition is already unworthy for minibus. Officer should take firm action," he expressed.

Head of Kemayoran Sub-District, Herry Purnama stated the matter has been handed over to Central Jakarta Transportation Sub-Department. Even, all Metromini crews are summoned in Cempaka Baru Urban Village Office on last Friday (9/11) night.

"For a while, the minibus is still allowed to go around, instead of waiting passenger in Bendungan Jago. Precisely in location that used as illegal terminal and installed banners," he asserted.
