Smart City, Realizing ICT-Based Intelligent Jakarta

Head of Jakarta Communications, Informatics, Public Relations Department, Ii Karunia revealed that the concept of Smart City launched by Jakarta Provincial Government is purposed to realize the information and communications based intelligent city (ICT).

Smart City application which was launched last year, he said, presented to increase operational efficiency of various activities and public service quality to good governance.

" So eventually, whole data and information opened through various media channels owned by the government, thus it is hopes could encourage public participation ," he said, Tuesday (9/22).

He added that the government keeps developing other simplicity, including supporting application of integration data that could connect various systems through application programming interface (API).

"In 2016, our target is infrastructure, maintenance, socialization, promotion and publication strengthening. Hopefully, in 2017, we already go to openly work and loT (internet of think)," he disclosed.
