Street Lights on Jalan Tanah Abang 3 Prone to Collapse

Due to tilted position and dangerous, a street light stood atop Jalan Tanah Abang 3, Petojo Selatan Urban Village, Gambir Sub-District, Central Jakarta, complained by local residents.

We've reported the matter to related unit, and I hope the street light could be fixed in the near future

Based on Beritajakarta.com observations, the street light looks tilted toward the street. Moreover, there are lots of wires winding on its pole. Surely, it is very dangerous and could collapse anytime.

"If it is neglected, I worry it could collapse. Its wire must also be fixed soon," expressed Yasin (35), a citizen of Petojo Selatan Urban Village, Wednesday (9/23).

Rp 39 B Allocated for 7,570 Street Lights

Responding on this matter, Head of Petojo Selatan Urban Village said his side has coordinated with related unit to fix the street light soon.

"We've reported the matter to related unit, and I hope the street light could be fixed in the near future," he expected.

Meanwhile, Head of Central Jakarta Industry and Energy Sub-Department, Chairil Anwar disclosed his sub-department is ready to follow up such matter. "We will fix the street light soon, don't worry," he promised.
