Anticipating Clash, Djarot Chooses Dialogue

Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat assessed that the clash happened among residents of Gunung Meriah Sub-District, Aceh Singkil Regency, Nangroe Aceh Darussalam was the impact of lack of dialogue room among citizens element.

"I'm still sure incident in Aceh would not happen in Jakarta since Jakartans are already grew up and kind," he said at City Hall, Thursday (10/15).

According to him, tolerance developing and nation's awareness maturation should be built at the early age. Involving schools, tolerance and nation spirit will be nurtured through dialogue to solve problem between them.

"Yesterday, I participated in cultural dialogue event of national synergy energy. There were many figures attended. We want to hold event on Hari Sumpah Pemuda and Hari Pahlawan for holding the dialogue," he disclosed.
