Head of South Jakarta Industry and Energy Sub-Department, Hasmi Chalid acknowledged the installation of 6,124 Light Emitting Diode (LED) lamps in 10 sub-district areas can be complete in the upcoming December.

Chalid uttered that the South Jakarta Goods and Services Procurement Unit (UPPBJ) has completed all the auction process. But thousands of packages of new LED lamps are expected to arrive in Jakarta in November.

“ We’re working on the network installation, pole and other lamp ornaments ,” he uttered, Thursday (10/15).

He furthered that the allocation for lamps installation yet purchasing is amounting to Rp 57 billion.

However, these LED lamps can last up to 6 years and 2 years for Hight Preusure Sodium (HPS).
