PKK Members Given Anti-corruption Counseling

To improve knowledge and understanding of law, the City Administration is holding anti-corruption counseling to Family Welfare Movement Team (TP PKK) members from urban village until provincial levels.

City Secretary's Assistant for Jakarta Governance, Bambang Sugiyono stated the counseling is a preventive action of corruption in the city. "PKK's role is very important as they have a role as wives and mothers who are a central figure in family," he stated, at City Hall, Tuesday (10/20).

Besides that, he continued, such program is also hoped could remove women stigma as the cause of corruption.

"It can also teach wives to criticize husbands who give something yet not accordance to the income. So it's as a program to self enrich with comprehensive knowledge," he continued.

According to him, with such counseling, it can help to protect themselves and family from corruption. "The materials given could be discussed along with family and neighborhood," he expressed.
