2 Employees of Flight Health Office Trapped in Elevator

Central Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-Department evacuated 2 employees of Flight Health Office, Jalan Merpati, Kemayoran who were trapped in the malfunctioned elevator.

"We deploy 10 personnel to the scene. The two employees were trapped in the elevator and have a risk of oxygen deficiency," said Picket Officer of Central Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-Department, Slamet Riyadi, Monday (10/26).

According to him, the elevator was malfunctioned due to off electricity power. So that the door could not be opened. "It's from 10.30 AM. The employees are Yati and Tia. The elevator stopped on 3rd floor," he explained.

For rescuing, he continued, his side is still trying by using manual  tools. "We use ladder, luckily it could be managed quickly. We deplore the building condition which is not ready when such case happens," he deplored.
