A Malnourished Child in Tidung Island Recovered

After being admitted intensively by doctor and nurse of Tidung Island Community Healthy Center, South Seribu Islands, Seribu Islands, the condition of R, a 8-month-old malnourished baby has been gradually recovered.

So we will not stop suggesting the baby to be admitted to Seribu Islands Regional Hospital, because there is child specialist there

"For the physical progress is hard due to congenital birth. So we will not stop suggesting the baby to be admitted to Seribu Islands Regional Hospital, because there is child specialist there. We guarantee the medical expenses is free," said Tidung Island Urban Village Head, Ma'sut Hamid, Thursday (11/5).

According to him, since the baby's parents refused their child to be admitted in the hospital , finally the health center side that has to visit the baby's house everyday.

"The parents refused to take their to hospital with excuse of traumatic," he explained.

R is known suffering bad nutrient. In the island within the lastest year recorded, there have been 2 babies suffering bad nutrient. The other one now has been recovered.
