West Jakarta Mayor, Anas Efendi stated that dredging for Pesanggrahan River is under Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing management.
Please accelerae the dredging to flow the water from residential channel into the river
He admitted that the river condition is very shallow. It is afraid that the water will overflow and inundate the surrounding area.
Pesanggrahan River Needs Dredging
"We'll coordinate with Jakarta Dept. of Water Management to deliver this matter to the ministry," he said, Monday (11/9).
Meanwhile, Herman, Head of Kelapa Dua Urban Village, hoped related units will take action to minimize the shallowing river's impact.
"Please accelerate the dredging to flow the water from residential channel into the river," he stated.
