22 Companies Got Environmental Award

As many as 22 private companies, 9 schools, 1 Non-Governmental Organization (LSM), and 6 individuals are given environmental award 2015. The recipients are deemed able to keep environment clean from cigarette smoke.

Towards schools which are insightful and caring to environment will be given Adiwiyata

The appreciation given is the award of the obedience and the environmental managing performance for business activities with excellent criteria to 11 companies. Then 11 companies got the award of realizing non-smoking area in obey category.

256 Clean Houses in Jakarta Will Receive Award

Head of Jakarta Environment Management Board (BPLHD), Andi Baso Mappapoleonro disclosed the awards were given to individual and institution that considered is able to maintain and manage the environment. Besides that, the award was also given to company of tower management that is able to apply free cigarette smoke.

"Towards schools which are insightful and caring to environment will be given Adiwiyata," he told, Wednesday (11/11).

As a form of appreciation, Jakarta Governor, Basuki ‘Ahok’ Tjahaja Purnama also attended to directly give the awards. His side hopes, in future, citizens and stakeholders could do protection and managing environment.
