Jakarta Governor, Basuki “Ahok” T Purnama ascertained that citizens occupying the flat all over Jakarta will not be evicted. His side only does it for those who violate the flat procedures.

“ Logically, they won’t be evicted if they pay the rental flat cost on time and have complete document. I suspect they rent their unit to other people ,” he stressed, at City Hall, Tuesday (11/17).

He admitted that he had difficulties to difficulties inviting citizens to move to the flat. “We've tried to help them through flat construction. Surely, we cannot evict them,” he expressed.

Even, he would punish those who try to rent the flat. Considering, every person only pays Rp 150 thousand per month.

“There were previously people renting their unit by Rp 750 thousand-2 million per month. This matter that will be followed up and we will evict the actor,” he asserted.

As known, an occupant of Muara Baru Flat was evicted due to incomplete document.
