Basuki Sebut Sikap Tertutup BPK Berlebihan

BPK's Act Exaggerated, Basuki Says

You're asking information from me for completing investigation report asked by Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK)

Jakarta Governor, Basuki 'Ahok' Tjahaja Purnama claimed he was disappointed with the act of some security guards and Audit Agency (BPK) staffs who prohibited the documentation team under Jakarta Provincial Government to do recording.

Whereas, according to Ahok, he visited BPK was for giving information regarding land purchase of Sumber Waras Hospital in 2014 ago, it needs to be documented thus whole citizens could know it through video on www.youtube.com.

By BPK, Basuki Examined More Than 7 Hours

"You're asking information from me for completing investigation report asked by Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). I need to record it, so that whole citizen will know what's BPK asked and what my answer is," he said to one of BPK's staffs, Monday (11/23).

He conveyed that another reason of the recording was for anticipating the mistake from the minutes. The act of BPK's staffs was considered to be exaggerated as the institute was not doing investigation.

"It's not an investigation. You're not KPK or attorney. You're auditor. If it's KPK, we didn't mind to be prohibited to get in. Even we can bring a lawyer," he expressed.

Basuki stressed the team was only for showing transparency of the government to public over the land purchase case of Sumber Waras Hospital.

"I just want people to know that we have no secret. All meeting will be uploaded on youtube," he asserted.

Meanwhile, one of BPK's staffs acknowledged could not allow the recording with excuse of following Laws of State Financial Management.

"The laws does not allow us to give any information documentation recording to anybody including you sir," explained one of the staffs.

Hearing that, Basuki then stepped out the room while asking the entourage to get out.

"Okay come on let's get out," he told.
