Demolishment of Secretariat Building of RT 02/02, Petojo Selatan Urban Village, at Jalan Tanah Abang V, Central Jakarta went chaotic. The locals threatened the officer on the bulldozer .

"Don't demolish it, It belongs to residents, get down!," said Anton (50) Chairman of RT 02/02, Petojo Selatan while pulling the officer who was on the heavy equipment for demolishing the building, Wednesday (11/25). 

According to him, the 10x2-m building has been used as RT Administration office for 15 years. Besides that, it is also used as gathering place of volunteers from one of political party. 

Petojo Selatan Urban Village Head, Kamal said that overall there are 8 buildings standing on water channel. And as the deal the building has been given a time to be demolished by themselves. 

"It's supposed to be demolished on November 20, as the channel will be normalized soon. There was a fight, but we gave explanation right away and the building must still be demolished," he explained.
