HPR Vaccination Service Opened in East Jakarta

East Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture, Food Security Sub-Dept opens free vaccination and medical service for rabies spreader animals (HPR) in East Jakarta Mayor Office Tour which is held every Saturday.

We're going to do identification beforehand. After being identified, if there is rabies animal found, it will be brought to Technical Management Unit of Animal Health Service Center for Livestock Technology and Products Quality Testing

Head of Animal Livestock and Health Section for East Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture, Food Security Sub-Dept, Faizah hopes the service could be used by residents who have HPR, such as dog, cat and civet.

"It's the 3rd implementation. It's still lacking since the mayor office is still new. So, there are only a few coming, even it's less than 10 animals," she stated, Friday (12/11).

January-October, 217 HPR in South Jakarta Secured

She told that the service which is open at 9 AM-12 PM is free of charge. It aims to prevent rabies to infect human.
