“Surely, we’re currently preparing pilot project along with Cleanliness Sub-Department related to trash management. The point is, we’ll strive to change people's mindset to make trash as best friend, instead of enemy,” said West Jakarta Secretary, Asril Marzuki, Friday (12/18).
Area Managements Participated in Trash Handling SocializationMarzuki mentioned, several strategies that will be used are waste bank socialization, trash ATM, creative competition among citizens to process trash and encourage the company providing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to run the program.
“Indeed, such pilot project is similar to other regions, but the strategy is different. We can process trash into economic value things. it is still being realized, that;s why we want to create West Jakarta as the best trash handling pilot all over Indonesia,” he asserted.
