Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat invited mass organizations from Muhammadiyah and Aisiyah to sinergize with City Administration to realize the civilized and dignified Jakarta.

Hidayat explained, City’s mission and vision are to embodies the modern city which arranged neatly, setting decent shelter and humane and to have cultured people.

"Through this regional deliberation, I hope we can draw up work program that can synergize each other. Especially create civilized and dignified people, with various problems inherent in Jakarta, ranging from poverty, slum, drug abuse, education, health That’s the most important things,” he uttered in front of participants of Regional Deliberation (Muswil) Aisiyah & Muhammadiyah, in Pasar Rebo, East Jakarta, Saturday (12/19).

He also exposed current issues in Jakarta such as moral and akhlak (character) decline, criminal, drug cases, pornography, domestic violence, kidnapping, child abuse, education and welfare gaps, as well as lack of understanding of Islam teaching.

"This is for the sake of residents’ interest," he stated.
