Rp 3.1 T Prepared For Flat Construction in City

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama acknowledged, this year's flat construction does not meet the target yet. He wants every year it can be built up to 50 towers. But it is ensured it will be better next year, because he had replaced Head of Jakarta Housing and Government's Buildings Department.

"The flat construction this year has not met the target. That's why we will accelerate its process next year. I believe it because I have chose Ika Lestari Aji as the new Head of Jakarta Housing and Government's Building Department," he stated, at City Hall, Wednesday (12/30).

He hoped, in one year, Jakarta Provincial Government could build between 30-50 towers thus citizen relocation can be done quickly. It aims to accelerate river and dam normalization.

Semper Barat Flat Construction Has Touched 10 Floors

Next year, there will 22,000 new flats coloring the capital in 31 locations. It will spend Rp 3.1 trillion.

Land for flat construction has been prepared and only waiting for auction process with design and build system. There are four locations that will be built in traditional markets such as Tanah Abang, Pasar Grogol, Kebon Melati Market, and Market Serdang.
