Jakarta Governor Basuki T. Purnama wants the toilet in big-sized park or green open space (RTH) could be equipped with air conditioning.

If the toilet is hot, we can install air conditioning inside

"Don't want to lose with Japanese and Korean people, they have clean and fragrant toilets. If the toilet is hot, we can install air conditioning inside," he expressed, on the sidelines of inauguration of 10 RTHs and Reformasi Plaza in Jagakarsa Park, South Jakarta, Tuesday (2/9).

He went on the say that the toilet would also have janitor. "They will keep toilet clean and fragrant," he continued.

This idea was inspired from mall and hotel.

"This is good to add job vacancy. If I was a janitor, I will keep toilet clean and fragrant. Moreover, we feel uncomfortable in dirty place, right? You can also see every toilet in mall and hotel, you will definitely see janitor inside, because they want cleanliness maintained. That's why we will realize it in Jakarta," he said.
