The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) held an anti-corruption socialization in the Kembangan Utara Children-Friendly Integrated Public Space (RPTRA), Kembangan, West Jakarta.

Such socialization that held, coinciding with Kartini Day, aimed at providing anti-corruption education to Kembangan Utara Urban Village residents, especially women.

KPK Public Relations Bureau, Elis Nurhayati disclosed the activity is conducted to give education and understanding about corruption. Education was initiated from family environment, such as children and husband.

"Why women? Besides commemorating Kartini Day, the role of women is very important to understand the anti-corruption. The wife can tell the importance of anti-corruption to her husband and children," he said, Thursday (4/21).

Kembangan Sub-district Head, Agus Ramdhani encourages residents to observe and report if there are officials in Kembangan region who practice corruption. Similarly, if there are officers who charge a fee services beyond provisions.

"I ask people to report officials who ask for money in serving the public. At this time, all kinds of services are free of charge, with the exception of official retribution regulated," he closed.
