Ahead of Long Holiday, Train Ticket is Sold Out

Approaching long weekend holiday to welcome Isa al'masih and Isra Mi-raj that falls on May 5-6, the people began to line up to buy train tickets for a vacation out of town. Even, all tickets for West Java, Central Java and East Java destinations are sold out.

Train departure dated May 4-5 is sold out. While for departure dated on May 3 and 6, are still available and can be checked on the reservation

Head of Public Relations for PT KAI Operation Regional (Daops) I, Bambang S Prayitno disclosed that train departure from Jakarta is quite varied. But for the departure from Gambir and Senen station dated on May 4-5 is sold out.

"Train departure dated May 4-5 is sold out. While for departure dated on May 3 and 6, are still available and can be checked on the reservation," he said, Monday (5/2).

Further, PT KAI does not provide additional train and departure," he disclosed, using 58 regular trains. There are 26 trains departed from Senen Station, while the other 32 departed from Gambir Station.

"Most tickets ordered are Yogyakarta, Central Java and East Java, such as Semarang, Surabaya and Malang," he stated.

PT KAI urged the people not to order ticket using ID card or SIM and through illegal agent or broker.
