Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama, admitted that President Joko Widodo will check the licensing process in Jakarta. The plan is aimed to advance city survey position with Ease of Doing Business (EODB). Not only Jakarta, Surabaya will be also checked.

According to him, Jokowi needs to see wether the economic policy has been implemented well or not. Jakarta Provincial Government has established One-Stop Integrated Service (PTSP) to ease the licensing.

Basuki added capital’s licensing could be used as role model for other regions depends on survey result.
