Monitoring in Conflict-Prone Areas must Be Tightened

Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat revealed, a number of regions in Central Jakarta are still categorized as with high levels of social insecurity. Therefore, ahead of the fasting month, Djarot wants monitoring from public forum and related unit to be tightened.

"Index number of social insecurity in Kampung Rawa Urban Village reaches 44.78 percent and followed by Galur Urban Village with 43,11. If it is more than 60 percent, it will be very dangerous," he stated, on the sidelines of a briefing in the meeting of preparation and alertness coordination of Central Jakarta FKDM member, in mayor office, Thursday (5/12).

Especially in Johar Baru Sub-district, the high number of crime action is allegedly conducted by other elements to establish their interests. Therefore, all elements of society must be able to do early detection, especially during the fasting month, June.
