Ciliwung Potentially Used as Tourist Site

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama disclosed, condition of Ciliwung River is already much cleaner than before. If there is trash stuck, it is only in the banks due to the flood. Therefore, the river is potentially used as a tourist site.

He mentions the river could also be used as a water tour site. In Kampung Pulo for instance, the boat is prepared for locals for day trips. But for water transportation cannot be realized yet. This is because, land trip is more quickly.

As known, trip taken by the governor during the review using a rubber boat takes about two hours.
