As emergency effort, we use fund from locals to repair the bridge using bamboos, but not yet completed

To prevent unwanted things in future, local residents finally decided to repair the bridge.

"As emergency effort, we use fund from locals to repair the bridge using bamboos, but not yet completed. In future, we want this bridge to be made from concrete thus it can be more durable," said Murta'a, Head of Pari Island Urban Village, Saturday (5/28).

According to Murta'a, besides introducing mangrove park, it is also a means of connecting between mangrove park to fishing locations on the northwest side of the building where there is a Dutch heritage lighthouse that was built around 1800. The building can be seen when the sea receded.

"This 200-meter long bridge is directly connecting to the fishing spots for travelers and bukit Pelangi or Karang Gosong," he finished.
