Basuki to Raise Per Capita Meat Eating for Children

Meat sale with cheap price in market operation in the capital is aimed to decrease price and meet nutrition for children. The city administration is about to raise the per capita meat eating for children up to one kilogram per month.

For us, the market operation in the flat and given to Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) holder is giving the adequacy of nutrition for children

"For us, the market operation in the flat and given to Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) holder is giving the adequacy of nutrition for children," said Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama, at City Hall, Tuesday (6/14).

He wants every child could eat one kilogram of meat per month. Because, all this time, nutrition for Jakartans is deemed still low. "Minimally, per capita meat eating for children can touch one kilogram per month," he expressed.

At this time, not all flats can receive cheap meat, because the meat supply recently arrived. "Today, we receive a Dharma Jaya container," he told.

He added, the program is different with market operation. Because, to lower the price in the market, should be done on a large scale. "The market price is market business, surely it's different," he said.
