Labors in N. Jakarta Celebrate May Day Through Tree Planting

Commemorating the May Day holiday, as much as 400 labors in North Jakarta preferred to plant new trees, to hold a communal work and social service, than conducting demonstration. Coordinator of Jakarta Indonesian Prosperous Workers Union Confederation (KSBSI), Dedi Hardianto, explained tree planting in commemorating May Day is a new breakthrough. Whereas, all this time, the labors incorporated in members of KSBSI were always conducting demonstration during May Day.
"We will socialize the activity to labors, where the aspirations not only with the demonstration. This is because the demonstration is just a tool, if there is a better tool, we must utilize it," he exclaimed.
