5 Tons of Formalined Semar Fish will Be Destroyed Today

Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Dept is about to destroy 5 tons of semar fish containing formalin at Muara Angke Fishery Port, North Jakarta today.
The fish itself is found in a warehouse 88 near the port and was installed with police line by Tanjung Priok Port Resort Police

According to Wahyuni, it is initiated when the police did fish supervision around the Nizam Zacman Port, Muara Baru, North Jakarta from fisherman ship belongs to Benoa Fishery Port, Bali. When being checked, semar fish was found containing formalin 8-91 Ppm.

Until now, fish security supervision keeps being intensified in 125 traditional markets, 24 supermarkets and 10 fishery centers. During the operation, there are still found formalined fishes, despite its percentage is low.
As planned, such destroying will be done at 2 PM.
