10,000 Labors to Swarm HI Roundabout Today

Despite May Day has passed, 10,000 labors will still hold demonstration at HI Roundabout and in front of the State Palace.

According to Rikwanto, the labors only have time until 4 PM. If the demonstration exceeded the time limit, the police will disperse the mass. The same as yesterday, thousands of personnel will be deployed to secure the action.

“Yesterday, we deployed 18,000 personnel. Today, the amount will be adjusted. Our personnel will be deployed to mass concentration points,” he stated.

Moreover, Rikwanto appreciates the May Day commemoration held yesterday that went smoothly although tens of thousands of labors participated in the demonstration.

“The demonstration yesterday was quite conducive,” he told.
