Rambutan 1 Dam Project Accelerated

Jakarta Provincial Government is speeding up the construction of the Rambutan Dam 1 in RW 04 and 06 Kampung Rambutan Urban Village, Ciracas. To speed up dredging, Jakarta Water Management Dept has added two heavy equipments. It is targeted to ebv complete in the upcoming November.

Staff of River and East Flow Beach Section, Jakarta Water Management Dept, Asep Setia Permana disclosed the dam project is accelerated because it is priority scale. Three months ahead, it should already finish.

"That's why we add two heavy equipments to the field. And now we have four. Even, this week, we will add two more," he expressed, Friday (8/5).

City Council Urges School Cooperative Establishment Accelerated

The type of those four equipments are long-arm amphibian, long-arm excavator and standard excavator.

According to him, the project is started at 8 AM-4 PM. His party does not impose two shift because its location is nearby a settlement thus it would disturb citizen activities.

As planned, the dam as wide as 5 hectares would be dredged up to 5-10 meters deep. On the edge for a while, there have been made a  2.5-meter wide dumping.

The dumping is for inspection road and jogging track. And in the below, there would be sloping cliff with a stretch of 2.5 meters. This cliff will be plastered in the upcoming 2017.
