Garbage Heaps in TPS at RW 13 Penggilingan Complained by Locals

Based on Beritajakarta.com, on Monday (8/8), there is a container in the TPS to accommodate garbage, but a lot of garbage that are not accommodated and scattered on the ground. Even at the edges, there are also a lot of old garbage mixed with mud and soil plus debris.

Chairman of RT 10/13 Penggilingan, Ishak Rafiq stated, garbage has been existed since almost one year. The janitor only picks up garbage in the container. Residents have repeatedly requested the officer to clean it but only a small part.

"We have requested, but they always ignore us. When it rains, garbage swept away by inundation until resident residential," he told.

Responding on this matter, East Jakarta Cleanliness Sub-dept, Budi Mulyanto admitted he does not know this matter. But he promised to follow up the complaint. Locals are also asked to be more discipline in throwing garbage, because his side already put a container in the location.

"They must also be disciplined by not throwing garbage carelessly. I'll follow the complaint soon," he closed.
