Jokowi-Basuki Meet Home Affairs Ministry for Duty Devolution

Jakarta Governor Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo and Vice Governor Basuki T. Purnama were scheduled to meet Home Affairs Minister Gamawan Fauzi, Wednesday (5/14). Basuki: Jokowi still Cares about JakartaBased on the provisions, Jokowi must take furlough or non-active as governor during campaign period. Jokowi's task will be run by Basuki. Jokowi's permission letter had been delivered last week to Home Affairs Minister copied to president. Jokowi will be non active as governor starting from May 18 up to presidential election determination by General Election Commission (KPU).
Jakarta Vice Governor Basuki T. Purnama clarified about their consultation with the minister, especially about governor daily implementer (Plh) and task implementer (Plt) difference. "If Plh is given, I can not provide a decision letter (SK), because it has to get Jokowi's authority letter first," Basuki stated.
Based on Home Affairs Ministry regulation No 55/2010, Plt is a temporary official of some positions who have devolution authority of department manuscript signature, because of no definitive official.
