DKI Dukung Penyelenggaraan FFI 2016

City Fully Supports 2016 FFI

The Committee of 2016 Festival Film Indonesia (FFI) and Head of Film Development Center for Education and Culture Ministry, Wawan Wijaya visited the City Hall. They met Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama in order to ask for ease of licensing activity.

Film in Indonesia must be maintained, we must support. FFI in Jakarta must be a momentum

The FFI itself will be held in the upcoming November. As planned, the awards for Indonesian film-makers is held at Taman Ismail Marzuki (TIM), Central Jakarta.

Basuki admitted very supporting the film industry in Indonesia. He assessed, currently film that worked by Indonesian the movie makers is able to compete with any other country in the world.

Basuki Supports Indonesian Film Industry

"Indonesian film now is qualified, such as Warkop DKI Reborn that has attracted 5 million viewers. Which is why it must be supported fully," he stated, at City Hall, Thursday (9/22).

Related with 2016 FFI, he will strongly support it. Moreover, this year, it will be held in Jakarta.

"Film in Indonesia must be maintained, we must support. FFI in Jakarta must be a momentum," he stressed.

On that occasion, two talented actors also as FFI committee will be accompanying a joint meeting with Basuki. Both are Lukman Sardi and Reza Rahadian.
