We need more heavy equipments. In the near future, we got 40 new heavy equipments
Jakarta Acting Governor, Sumarsono disclosed heavy equipment purchase is budgeted through the 2016 Revised APBD. Because its existence is far from enough.
"We need more heavy equipments. In the near future, we got 40 new heavy equipments," he stated, at Bantar Gebang Landfill, Tuesday (11/8).
Bantar Gebang Management Is Still TraditionalThe purchase is through e-catalog in the National Procurement Agency (LKPP). The equipment that will be bought is like excavator.
Ideally, there should be 60 units to maximize operational of Bantar Gebang Landfill. But after being taken over by third party, Jakarta government only operates 20 units.
"We just operate 20 equipements, whereas it should be 60 units. Surely it is very hamper," he stressed.
