North Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept recorded that the number of illegal parking in North Jakarta is relatively high since January until third week of this month, which are 3,901 four-wheeled vehicles.

Head of North Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept, Benhard Hutajulu disclosed the high number of vehicles towed by officers is because of the low awareness of the public about parking in the designated spot.

Besides that, the officer also flattened the vehicles that break the rules. Until third week of this month, 7,283 motorcycles and 5,208 cars are flattened, as well as 523 other vehicles are towed.
"We'll do operation intensively. Every day, five until six cars towed," he finished.
