Non-Jakarta PHL Recruitment Handed Over to SKPD

A number of freelancers (PHL) who work at the office of City Hall are complaining the new rule that regulates the recruitment system that obligated to have Jakarta ID card. This is because, most of them have been working tens years and are from outside of Jakarta.

Responding on such matter, Assistant of Governance Division for City Secretary, Bambang Sugiono disclosed, there was indeed revision on the gubernatorial regulation about PHL. One article mentions the recruitment is prioritized for those who have Jakarta ID card.
Acting Gov Satisfied with Jakarta PHL Performance"It doesn't mean people who have no Jakarta ID card cannot work here, but preferably only for those who have Jakarta ID card in advance," he stated.
Nevertheless, according to him, it will be returned to each SKPD that controls PHL. If they are diligent and have skill, SKPD can still recruit with such consideration.
"The verbal part of the regulation was set. But if you do not want to risk, we recommend changing the domicile to Jakarta. Then for the matter of re-recruitment was up to each SKPD," Bambang stated.
