Jakarta Provincial Government is establishing cooperation with 92 nursing academies (akper) and midwifery academies (akbid). Cooperation is established to improve the quality of the college students.

City Secretary, Saefullah disclosed the cooperation can mutually be beneficial, between the two sides. Jakarta Health Dept to get extra health workers, while students can apply their knowledge.

"We do not know what the needs in future. Who knows other areas are also in need. Even, we can also export midwifery workforce in the future," he disclosed.
Chairman of Jakarta Akper Association, Silvana Evilinda expressed her gratitude for the cooperation being run. This is a form of commitment from both sides in educating children of the nation.
"We are ready to help Jakarta government program, especially public health field. We have human resource with good educational background," he finished.
