As many as 200 participants consist of RT, RW, Urban Village Parley Organization (LMK) and PKK cadre in West Jakarta participated the City Council role function socialization.

West Jakarta Vice Mayor, M Zen, admitted the socialization is important for city council and government to get direct report from RT, RW, LMK, and PKK.

“West Jakarta area is quite wide. RT, RW, LMK, and PKK cadre have direct contact with the citizens,” he said, Wednesday (12/21).

He saw that several locations in West Jakarta had inundation spot. Because of channel, river, and reservoir normalization, the inundation was quickly recede.

West Jakarta City Council Chairman, M Maskur, explained the program was held to align the society organization function in order to support government programs.

“Additional citizen aspiration can be proposed in next year’s revised city budget,” he stated.
