City Hold Hygine Competition Prized Car and Motorcycle

Jakarta Provincial Government will hold the hygiene competition to welcome Jakarta 487 Anniversary. To stimulate public interest in participating, the organizers have already provided the main prize of a car and a motor bike. The competition will be drawn from the lottery tickets.

So if anyone could keep their house and yard clean from garbage for six months, then they will be get a lottery coupon. Later, the winner could get car and motorcycle.

So that's what we're thinking," said Acting (Plt) Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama, in the launching of Jakarta 487 Anniversary in Marto Bridge, Kebon Kosong, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, Sunday (6/1).

Basuki explained that the hygiene competition will be held twice in a year that is assessed by the head of RT and RW in each settlement. Meanwhile the winners will be announced on June 22, coincide with Jakarta anniversary, and the one will be held in celebrating the new year.

Basuki asserted that the City Government will give strict punishment for the winners who turn out to be lying. "What if there is a lie later. If one lies then the neighbors will certainly protest. If it is proven, we will jail him. So there is reward, there is also punishment as well. Fair and square, right?" he stated.

DKI Bank will be the sponsor of this hygiene competition. The coupon will be printed specially. "If not, there will be many faked coupon. It would be a troublesome," added the former Regent of Belitong Timur.
