No Collective Holiday on March 27

Jakarta Regional Employment Agency (BKD) has announced that March 27, 2017 is not set as a collective holiday or national holiday. Hence civil servants under Jakarta Provincial Government remain go to work as usual.

Jakarta BKD's Handling Section Head, Komarukmi Sulistyawati said has issued a circular letter about monitoring the list attendance of the employees. The letter number 1936/087 is sent to all regional working units (SKPD).
"Similar to the policy of Ministry of Administrative Reform and Reformation regulates that employee will remain go to work on March 27," he stated, when being contacted, Friday (3/24).

He added civil servants are allowed to request leave on such days. Yet it is still restricted, which is only five percent of the total number of employees.
"The leave is indeed the rights, so we allow it. But it must be submitted to each SKPD," he finished.
