Jakarta Great Sale Festival Considered Increasing City PAD Effectively

Jakarta Great Sale Festival (FJGS) which routinely held every year in City considered increasing Jakarta revenue (PAD) effectively.

Income will be affecting PAD and could increasing APBD, especially from tourism sector

In every implementation, that festival is proven inviting many visitors either domestic or overseas to visit Jakarta.

Jakarta Tourism and Culture Dept. Head, Catur Laswanto said, tourism service is one of the income source of regional revenue. According to previous experience, FJGS increasing shops, hotels, and restaurants income in Jakarta.

"Income will be affecting PAD and could increasing city budget, especially from tourism sector," he said, Friday (5/18).

He explained one favorite tourism service in City is shopping tour following the numbers of shopping centers in Jakarta.

"We have complete shopping center, from the low class, middle class, to high class. It also promotes visitors to go to Jakarta.

For information, FJGS event will be held from June 2 to July 12, 2017. It is noted there are 81 shopping centers, 12 hotels, and 40 traditional markets participating in this event.
