City-LAPAN Establish Cooperation

Jakarta Provincial Government has agreed to cooperate with National Institute of Aeronautics and Space (LAPAN). It is marked by an agreement signing from Acting Jakarta Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat along with LAPAN Head, Thomas Djamaluddin.

The valid and newest data is much needed to plan and realize the development policy

Djarot disclosed, LAPAN is hoped able to assist the city in drafting development comprehensively in the capital.

"LAPAN has the capability of monitoring of air and ground equipped advanced technology. It can be utilized for developing our city," he stated, at City Hall, Wednesday (5/31).

City-North Korea Establishing Cooperation

He asks Development Planning Board (Bappeda) and Regional Working Unit (SKPD) to pay attention to input from LAPAN when making the development planning.

"The valid and newest data is much needed to plan and realize the development policy," he explained.

Meanwhile, LAPAN Head, Thomas Djamaluddin uttered LAPAN has four competences, namely aviation and space science, remote sensing, aerodynamic satellite rocket technology, and policy review.

 

"This cooperation is part of LAPAN's contribution to support and improve local development," he finished
